Norpoint Soccer Club’s Affiliates & Associations

Norpoint Soccer Club (NSC) is one of 14 clubs in the Tacoma Pierce County Junior Soccer Association (TPCJA). Norpoint Serves over 400 families in the NE Tacoma and surrounding areas including Brown's Point and Redondo, with recreational and select soccer programs for boys and girls, ages 5 to 17.


TPCJSA has 14 clubs that served the Tacoma, Pierce County region, and include all levels of play from recreational to competitive/select programs. Associate clubs include Fife-Milton-Edgewood (FME), Franklin Pierce Soccer Club (FPSC); Fircrest Soccer Club (FIR); Harbor Soccer Club (HSC); Lakewood-Steilacoom-Dupont Soccer Club (LSDSC); Norpoint Soccer Club (NSC); Nortac Soccer Club (Nortac); Puyallup Soccer Club; Spanaway-Graham-Eatonville Soccer Club (SGE); South Hill Soccer Club (SHSC); South Tacoma Soccer Club (STSC); University Place Soccer Club (UPSC); Vashon Island Soccer Club (VISC), and Washington Premier Football Club (WPFC).



District III is one of 7 districts in Washington State Youth Soccer Association. District III is primarily in South Puget Sound and includes 8 associations including Tacoma-Pierce County; Federal Way; Highline; Auburn; Mount Rainier; Greater Renton; Maple Valley; and Kent.


The State League is a league within Washington Youth Soccer that is open to any competitive team from U13 to U19 that is registered to WA Youth Soccer through US Youth Soccer. Teams are placed in the State League based on the previous season's league standings and State Cup results. The State League season is traditionally broken into two parts based on gender/age: BU13-19 and GU13-14 play a fall season that starts the first Saturday after Labor Day, and GU15-19 play a winter/spring season that usually starts late January to early February.




Washington Youth Soccer is one of 14 associations in Region IV and comprises 41 Member Associations which includes more than 250 clubs or leagues throughout the State. In turn, Washington Youth Soccer is affiliated with United States Youth Soccer and United States Soccer Federation and ultimately with FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association).

Region IV is one of 4 regions in US Youth Soccer, and comprises 14 State Soccer Associations including Alaska Youth Soccer Association; Arizona Youth Soccer Association; California Your Soccer Association-North; California Youth Soccer Association-South; Colorado Youth Soccer; Hawaii Youth Soccer Association; Idaho Youth Soccer Association; Montana Youth Soccer Association; Nevada Youth Soccer Association; New Mexico Youth Soccer Association; Oregon Youth Soccer Association; Utah Youth Soccer Association; Washington Youth Soccer Association; and Wyoming Youth Soccer.

US Youth Soccer is US Youth Soccer is one of 4 divisions in US soccer, and is the largest member of the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States. US Youth Soccer is a nationwide body of over 600,000 volunteers and administrators, and over 300,000 dedicated coaches, most of who also are volunteers. US Youth Soccer registers over 3,000,000 youth players between the ages of five and nineteen. US Youth Soccer comprises 4 regions including Region I EAST; Region II Midwest; Region III South; and Region IV Far West, and is made up of 55 member State Associations; one in each state, and two in California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.


US Soccer is one of 40 National Associations in The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). U.S. Soccer Federation - Founded in 1913, U.S. Soccer is one of the world's first organizations to be affiliated with FIFA. As the governing body of soccer in the United States (recreational, amateur and professional), U.S. Soccer has continued to develop the sport at all levels and found success in making soccer a preeminent sport in the United States.

The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) is the governing body for soccer (football) in the region, and one of six continental authorities that administer the game along with FIFA, the world governing body.

FIFA is made up of 6 confederations. The Confederations are the umbrella organizations of the national football associations on each continent. The AFC in Asia, CAF in Africa, the Football Confederation (CONCACAF) in North and Central America and the Caribbean, CONMEBOL in South America, UEFA in Europe and the OFC in Oceania all provide support to FIFA without encroaching on the rights of the national associations. In fact, the Confederations actually raise the profile of football further, by staging their own competitions at club and international level and though a range of other activities.
