Norpoint Soccer Club

Established in 1969, Norpoint Soccer Club is a non-profit youth soccer organization in Pierce County providing boys and girls age 4-18 an opportunity to play and enjoy the game of soccer. The organization is made up of volunteers who have dedicated their time and energy to not only assist these young people in learning and excelling at the game of soccer, but to also help them develop as outstanding members of the community.

Norpoint Soccer Club, Located Near Browns Point in Northeast Tacoma, is one of thirteen clubs that make up the Tacoma Pierce County Junior Soccer Association (TPCJSA). TPCJSA is one of 42 member associations which make up the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA).

Opening Day Parade

Please join Norpoint Soccer Club for our Annual Opening Day Parade. This year, the parade will take place at Meeker Middle School. All teams are encouraged to participate in this event that marks the beginning of the season. Following are the details:

Event: Norpoint Soccer Club Opening Day Parade

Date: Saturday, September 11, 2010

Time: 2:00pm Parade, followed by a few words from the Club

Location: On “sidewalk” behind Crescent Heights Elementary (from CHE shelter to Meeker Steps)

Details for participating Norpoint teams…

Contest: There is a contest for “best banner” ($50 first place, $25 second place)--Players must make the parade banner

When: Meet at 1:30 on Saturday under the Crescent Heights Shelter

Parade: At 2:00pm the Parade will begin (micro first) and walk the “sidewalk” to the Meeker Steps

If you do not have conflicting games or pictures, Norpoint would encourage your team to join. This is the one event that really showcases the “Spirit” of the club. We hope to be back at our traditional location for this event next year, when the new fields are completed
